Match Report - 03 Dec 2011, Phoenix Hockey Club Ladies 1st XI beat Wapping 5
We went to Wapping with only 11 and no coach, both the small squad and Charlie's absence a first for the season. Wapping 5s did not present much of a challenge on paper, being bottom of the league and not having won all season but we were concious that we have not always performed at our best when playing the 'easier' teams.
Luckily, we bucked this trend by winning a convincing 9-1, with a hat-trick from Milly Tomalin.
